This week in Room 5, we have been writing in our new gratitude journals that Mrs Drummond bought for us. At the end of each day, we write three things we are most grateful for for the day. Doing this can help you appreciate small things more. Most of the journals have different designs. Here is the cover of my journal:

Shape Nets
Today in maths, we made 3D shapes with nets. I made a square-based pyramid and a triangular prism. We cut out the net and glued the folds to make the shapes. Here are the shapes I made:
Potato Haiku
Today we have been writing haikus. Haikus are poems with five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second line and five in the last line. I made a haiku about potatoes. Here is my haiku:
